Summary

Impaired baroreceptor reflex sensitivity (BRS) is linked to increased hypertensive end-organ damage (EOD). Lower BRS and higher blood pressure significantly predict EOD in spontaneously hypertensive rats, suggesting BRS impairment exacerbates damage.
