Summary

Factor VII deficiency, a rare bleeding disorder, can be managed effectively for oncological surgery. Factor VII administration prevents excessive bleeding in patients with both congenital and acquired forms of the condition.

  • A single preoperative factor VII injection effectively prevented bleeding in acquired deficiency associated with cancer.
