Bronchial capillary hemangioma in adults

- Two adult patients presented with hemoptysis and cough, but normal chest radiographs.
- Flexible bronchoscopy revealed protruding, circumscribed lesions with a capillary surface in the trachea and left upper lobe bronchus.
Findings:
- Histopathological examination confirmed typical capillary hemangiomas without any malignant features.
- Complete excision of the lesions was achieved using flexible bronchoscopic forceps.
Implications:
- Capillary hemangioma should be considered in the differential diagnosis of unexplained hemoptysis and cough in adults.
- Bronchoscopic surveillance and excision may be effective for managing these rare bronchial tumors.
