Background:

A case of laparoscopic splenectomy performed concurrently with Caesarean section is presented.
The patient was morbidly obese and in the immediate postpartum period.
This procedure was considered for a patient with specific medical needs.

Findings:

Laparoscopic splenectomy at the time of Caesarean section was successfully performed.
The procedure demonstrated safety and efficacy in a high-risk patient.
This approach managed both obstetric and surgical conditions simultaneously.

Implications:

Minimally invasive splenectomy can be safely performed in morbidly obese women during Caesarean section.
This technique expands the role of laparoscopic surgery in complex obstetric cases.
