Abstract:
The results of investigation on prognosing complications after resection of the liver in 165 patients are presented. A uni- and multifactorial regression analysis included 31 preoperative and 17 intraoperative indices. The results obtained have shown that cirrhosis, the level of bilirubin before operation and the volume of resection of the liver are independent factors which are of importance for prognosis of complications after resection of the liver.
