[Some pecularities in the ultrastructure of gingival capillaries]

The authors performed electron microscopical studies on biopsy specimens of gingival papillae from subjects with clinically healthy periodontium. They observed certain peculiarities of the ultrastructure of the gingival capillaries which are indicative of a greater functional activity of the vessels in this part of the periodontium.
