Abstract:
Differences in radiation output between dental x-ray generators operated with a given electrical input often discourage the practitioner from trying to use supplemental x-ray techniques. Methods are described by which the exposure time is easily computed for an generator, regardless of cone length, kilovoltage, milliamperage, or idiosyncrasies of output.
