Background:

Observation:

  • An 81-year-old Japanese woman presented with bilateral auricular masses of 6 years' duration.
  • Imaging revealed heterogeneous masses with specific signal characteristics on CT and MRI.

Findings:

  • CT scans showed slightly high-density masses with faint contrast enhancement.
  • MRI demonstrated heterogeneous, hypointense T1-weighted, and slightly hyperintense T2-weighted signals with heterogeneous post-contrast enhancement.

Implications:

  • Kimura's disease should be considered in the differential diagnosis of bilateral auricular tumors.
  • This case underscores the importance of recognizing diverse clinical presentations of Kimura's disease.
