Abstract:
Hospice of Reno County, Inc. recently completed the- first year of providing residential hospice care in Kansas. A home-like setting for the terminally ill client who either has no primary caregiver or with a caregiver unable to provide the level of care required, has met a variety of specialized needs. The hospice residence provides a home and caregiving environment in which the client receives hospice home care. Statistical information contained in this article is from the Annual Report of the Hospice Residential Care Center, July 28, 1997.
