Dextran sedimentation (DS) efficiently depletes red blood cells (RBCs) from bone marrow (BM) allografts, preserving hematopoietic progenitor cells (HPCs). This method is safe and effective for major ABO-incompatible transplants, ensuring successful engraftment.
