Summary

Stroke length, not stroke rate, is key for swimmers with disabilities (DS) to achieve higher velocity. Performance in disabled swimmers is more linked to disability type than training volume.

  • To analyze velocity (V), stroke length (SL), and stroke rate (SR) in elite male and female disabled swimmers (DS) during 100m freestyle events.
