[Current approaches to the topical treatment of acne vulgaris]

Data are submitted from the published literature on the application of different groups of topicals in the treatment of acne vulgaris. The mechanism of action of keratolytic and antimicrobial agents intended for external use is described. Certain main principles of treatment of mild to moderately severe acne vulgaris are formulated.
