Summary

A trinitrobenzene sulfonic acid (TNBS) ileitis model shows promise for studying inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Medium-chain triglycerides (MCT) demonstrate a protective effect against intestinal inflammation compared to long-chain triglycerides (LCT).
