Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the clinical characteristics, diagnostic methods, and antifungal susceptibility of Cryptococcus neoformans in patients with AIDS-related cryptococcal meningitis.
  • To determine the prevalence of different serotypes of Cryptococcus neoformans.

  • Retrospective analysis of 87 patients diagnosed with cryptococcal meningitis and underlying AIDS.
