  • Its etiology is often unknown, particularly in pediatric cases.

Observation:

  • NRH is frequently associated with other medical conditions or drug use.
  • Hepatomegaly and multiple large nodules were observed in this case.

Findings:

  • Radiological imaging of NRH can mimic neoplastic lesions.
  • Portal hypertension complicates approximately half of NRH cases.

Implications:

  • Open wedge biopsy is essential for accurate NRH diagnosis.
  • Prognosis for NRH without portal hypertension is generally favorable.
  • Complications like nodule rupture are infrequent.
