[State and prospects of the development of war traumatology and orthopedics]

The article deals with the achievements of the department of military traumatology and orthopedics in treatment of different traumas of the locomotor system, complications of these traumas and with different questions of treatment of orthopedic pathologies. It is shown that organisation of specialized orthopedic-traumatological centers in the system of military forces is necessary.
