Localization of apical epithelial determinants by the basolateral PDZ protein Scribble

The Drosophila scribble (scrib) protein, located at the septate junction, is essential for maintaining epithelial cell polarity. Loss of scrib function causes apical proteins to mislocalize, disrupting cell shape and tissue organization.
