Summary

This study shows the Unicamp technique for transverse colonic urinary reservoirs is safe and effective for patients receiving pelvic irradiation. The continent, nonrefluxing diversion offers a viable alternative for urinary diversion.

  • Patients were followed for a median of 4.5 years, with assessments including intravenous pyelography, pouchography, and urodynamic evaluation.
