Abstract:
In the early half of this century, nerve grafting was not thought to be a viable option in the management of nerve injuries. With modern techniques, patients now can expect useful recovery of sensory and motor function following nerve grafting of peripheral nerves. By providing standardized and quantifiable data, investigators may combine their clinical series to identify factors that further enhance nerve repair.
