Individualisation of active participation of dialysis patients: are patients satisfied?

In the Netherlands there are 52 dialysis units, where approximately 3,600 patients with end stage renal disease are being treated with renal replacement therapy. The dialysis department in Dordrecht is a medium to large-sized department, where about 85 patients have their renal replacement therapy.
