Background:

  • 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), commonly known as "ecstasy", is a psychoactive drug with known toxic effects.

Purpose of the Study:

  • To investigate the hepatic effects of both single and repeated MDMA administration in a rat model.
  • To identify the underlying mechanisms of MDMA-induced liver toxicity.
