A rare association between subacute thyroiditis and Sweet's syndrome (acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis) was observed. Cytokine dysregulation may link these inflammatory conditions.

A 63-year-old woman presented with biopsy-proven Sweet's syndrome one week after the onset of subacute thyroiditis.

This case represents the second documented instance of Sweet's syndrome occurring subsequent to subacute thyroiditis.
