Summary

Ultrasonic activated technology, including the harmonic scalpel and Laparosonic Coagulating Shears (LCS), proved safe and effective for laparoscopic hysterectomy (LH). This preliminary study indicates ease of use and cost-effectiveness for gynecological surgery.
