Pyogenic spondylodiskitis: a radiologic/pathologic and culture correlation study

Spondylodiskitis, an infection of the spine, shows vascularization and necrosis on histopathology. Cultures are crucial for identifying causative bacteria in this increasingly diagnosed condition.
