A multidisciplinary evaluation of the child with a visually related learning disability
Abstract:
It is conceded that not all learning disabilities result from vision or visual perceptual problems. Optometrists are advised to familiarize themselves with techniques employed by other disciplines dealing with learning disabled children. It is suggested that they direct themselves to the myriad of variables involved in the care of the under achieving or non-achieving child so that their own specific techniques will become of greater value to the patient.
