    Background:

    • Coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is a common procedure for treating coronary artery disease.
    • Traditional CABG involves multiple anastomoses, potentially increasing operative time and complexity.
    • Bridge grafting aims to simplify the procedure by creating fewer connections.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate the efficacy and safety of single aorta-coronary artery vein grafts (bridge grafts).
    • To assess the graft patency rates and clinical outcomes in patients undergoing bridge grafting.
    • To determine if bridge grafting is a useful alternative for bypassing small coronary artery branches.

    Main Methods:

    • Construction of single aorta-coronary artery vein grafts (bridge grafts) with side-to-side anastomosis in 250 patients.

    • High graft patency rates support the utility of bridge grafts for bypassing small coronary arteries.
    • This technique offers a valuable option to reduce anastomoses and operative time in CABG.
