Summary

The new CO2-Angioset system offers a safe and effective method for digital subtraction angiography, especially for patients with contraindications to iodinated contrast media. This carbon dioxide (CO2) angiography tool demonstrated good visualization in 82% of cases with minimal complications.

Background:
