Nonpenetrating filtering surgery in glaucoma.

Summary

Trabeculectomy is a standard glaucoma surgery but carries risks. Nonperforating filtering surgeries offer a safer alternative by bypassing resistance in the trabecular meshwork, improving outcomes for various glaucoma types.
