Background:

Observation:

  • A case of a nonfunctioning tumor composed of ectopic adrenal tissue was identified in the epididymis.
  • The tumor was incidentally detected as a left testicular mass during a routine examination.

Findings:

  • The ectopic adrenal tissue tumor in the epididymis was nonfunctioning.
  • Tumors in the juxtafuniculogonadal region are generally benign, but require confirmation.

Implications:

  • Surgical resection and subsequent histological analysis are essential for definitive diagnosis and to rule out malignancy.
