Abstract:
Recently, attention has focussed on phenotypic and functional differences between classic myeloid dendritic cells (DC), and DC that reportedly develop from an early, committed lymphoid precursor. In mice, DC from these separate hemopoietic lineages differ by their surface expression of CD8 alpha.
