A tough, fibrous membrane, the tunica albuginea, covers the testes, extending inward to form fibrous partitions or septa, dividing them into internal compartments called lobules. Each lobule has 1 to 3 tightly coiled seminiferous tubules where sperm production occurs. These tubules merge into a tubular network at the back of the testis, known as the rete testis.   • A case study of a 54-year-old male with a history of multiple myeloma.
  • The testicular tumor exhibited interstitial space growth.
  • Plasma cells showed varied differentiation, including features of connective tissue plasma cells.

Findings:

  • Characteristic cytoplasmic inclusions were observed in most plasma cells.
  • A significant number of intranuclear inclusions were identified.
  • This is the first report of such inclusions in testicular plasmacytoma cells.

Implications:

  • The presence and significance of these inclusions in end-stage myeloma require further investigation.
  • Understanding these cellular anomalies may enhance diagnostic criteria for plasma cell neoplasms.
  • This case contributes to the understanding of extraskeletal manifestations of multiple myeloma.
