[Current studies on shape changes of total prostheses in relation to the method of their construction]

It was shown that marginal gaps occurring after the preparation of upper complete dentures vary depending on the material or method applied and that in all tested materials the gaps become smaller again during subsequent swelling, but are not fully compensated.
