Evaluation of tendon-to-bone reattachment: a rabbit model

Summary

Comparing two tendon-to-bone repair methods, this study found both cortical abrasion and bone tunnel techniques yielded similar tensile strength and histologic healing. Simple cortical reattachment is as effective as complex bone tunnel repair for Achilles tendons.
