Summary

Moderation-Oriented Cue Exposure (MOCE) was not more effective than Behavioral Self-Control Training (BSCT) for problem drinkers aiming for moderate alcohol consumption. Both treatments showed similar outcomes, even for those with higher alcohol dependence.
