Summary

Multifocal Paget's sarcoma, a rare complication of Paget's disease, can manifest in multiple sites simultaneously. This study presents two elderly women with synchronous multifocal sarcomatous degeneration, highlighting its uncommon occurrence.

Background:

Paget's disease of bone is a chronic condition characterized by abnormal bone remodeling.
Sarcomatous degeneration is the most severe complication of Paget's disease.
Multifocal sarcomatous degeneration typically occurs in polyostotic Paget's disease.

Observation:

Two elderly female patients (77 and 86 years old) presented with synchronous multifocal sarcomatous degeneration.
Lesions occurred in distinct skeletal locations simultaneously in both patients.
Specific sites included the ilium, tibia, lumbar vertebra, skull, and sacrum.

Findings:

The cases represent uncommon instances of multifocal Paget's sarcoma.
The synchronous development of sarcomatous lesions was observed.

Implications:
