GBV-C/HGV genotypes: proposed nomenclature for genotypes 1-5

This study proposes a standardized nomenclature for GB virus-C/hepatitis G virus (GBV-C/HGV) genotypes. It clarifies naming for existing genotypes 1-3 and suggests new designations for novel South African and Southeast Asian isolates as genotypes 5 and 4, respectively.
