The SSRI discontinuation syndrome.

Summary

A distinct selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) discontinuation syndrome exists, causing mild physical and psychological symptoms within a week of stopping. Gradual withdrawal is recommended to minimize this common antidepressant side effect.
