    Background:

    • To investigate the relationship between fetal position (occipitoposterior vs. occipitoanterior) and labor characteristics.
    • To determine if abnormal labor in the OP position adversely affects fetal outcomes.

    • Matched comparison of high-risk patients based on fetal position (OP vs. OA).
    • Analysis of clinical factors, labor progress, and fetal heart rate monitoring parameters.

    • Close fetomaternal supervision is indicated for pregnancies with a fetus in the occipitoposterior position.
