Summary

Common Variable Immunodeficiency (CVID) patients often show abnormal B cell memory. Defects in CD27+ B cell maturation and CD27-CD70 pathway signaling contribute to immune dysfunction in CVID.

Background:

  • Common Variable Immunodeficiency (CVID) is a primary immunodeficiency characterized by hypogammaglobulinemia.

  • To investigate the B cell memory pool, focusing on CD27 expression and function, in patients with CVID.
  • To explore potential defects in B cell maturation and T cell-mediated B cell activation within the CD27-CD70 pathway.
