Summary

Osteoid osteoma, a rare benign bone tumor, was found in the ethmoid skull region. Surgical removal via a subfrontal approach successfully treated the patient presenting with severe headaches.

Implications:

  • This case highlights the rare occurrence of osteoid osteoma in the skull.
  • Subfrontal approach is a viable surgical option for ethmoid tumors.
  • Effective treatment for skull base osteoid osteoma can alleviate severe headaches.
