    Background:

    • Axillary plexus block is a common regional anesthesia technique.
    • Etidocaine is a local anesthetic used for surgical procedures.
    • Comparing different concentrations of local anesthetics is crucial for optimizing patient care.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To compare the efficacy and safety of 0.5% and 1.0% etidocaine with adrenaline for axillary plexus block.
    • To evaluate the onset, duration, and recovery of analgesia and motor block.

    Main Methods:

    • An open-label study involving 32 patients undergoing axillary plexus block.
    • Administration of 30 ml of either 0.5% or 1.0% etidocaine with adrenaline (5 mug/ml).
    • Assessment of time to total analgesia and motor block, duration of block, and time to return of sensation and motility.

    • Complete block was achieved in over 97% of patients.
