[Prognosis of neurotic patients under ambulatory care]

The prognosis of neurotic patients followed on a outpatient service was determined by calculation of probabilities of "improvement", "worsening" or "lack of changes" on successive examinations. These criteria were established for evaluation of 157 patients, 20 to 59 years old, who entered the study during a 12 month observation period.
