Summary

Urinary tract injuries can occur during laparoscopic surgery, leading to complications. Early diagnosis and prompt repair significantly reduce patient morbidity from these surgical injuries.

  • Implementing strategies for early detection and prompt management can decrease morbidity associated with laparoscopic UTIs.
  • Enhanced surgical training and standardized diagnostic protocols may improve patient outcomes.
  • Further research into specific risk factors and preventative measures is warranted.
