  • To investigate differences in anger, depression, and coping strategies between individuals with chronic tension-type headache (CTH), migraine headache (MH), and headache-free controls (CNT).
  • To examine the predictive relationship between affective states, coping mechanisms, and subsequent headache activity and lifestyle interference.

  • A community sample of CTH (n=16), MH (n=28), and CNT (n=38) subjects were assessed for anger, depression, and coping strategies.
