[Rehabilitation principles following treatment with the Ilizarov method of the lower extremities]

The paper presents the rehabilitation principles of patients treated by the Ilizarov method. Based on different disease etiology, site and age of the patient, different rehabilitation algorithms are presented. A way of management and rehabilitation of patients treated with the Ilizarov method worked out at the Department of Pediatric Orthopedics at of the K. Marcinkowski University of Medical Sciences of Poznan is also described.
