Microvascular surgery: adjunct to renal transplantation.

    Summary

    A novel microvascular anastomosis technique for connecting the polar artery to the renal artery was successfully used in five renal transplantation cases. This end-to-side method achieved excellent results in all patients, improving kidney transplant outcomes.
