Cutaneous reactions to topical NSAIDs

(1) Cutaneous application of nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) can cause potentially severe skin lesions that may not be restricted to the site of application. Sunlight can be an aggravating factor. (2) Various topical NSAIDs have been implicated. The most frequently mentioned is ketoprofen.
