Stenting and balloon angioplasty (PTCA) show similar outcomes for small coronary vessels. This study found no significant difference in restenosis or adverse events between the two treatments.

- Both interventional approaches offer comparable long-term outcomes in this patient subgroup.
- The findings support the use of either stenting or PTCA for small vessel coronary artery disease.
