Summary

Residual dorsal intercalated segmental instability (DISI) deformity after scaphoid non-union surgery did not predict wrist pain or functional deficits. Patients with and without DISI deformity showed similar post-operative outcomes, suggesting this deformity is not a key factor in wrist symptom development.
