[Rehabilitation of memory disorders: objectives, strategies and evaluation]

Memory rehabilitation can be proposed to amnesic patients with mild or moderate isolated memory deficit and with some preserved memory components. It is necessary to study memory with global psychometric tests, specific memory examination and pragmatic study, and to have definite memory aims. The facilitating effects of mental imagery and mnemonic strategies, preserved learning and compensatory aids were analysed.
